Rhonda is more than just my sister—she’s been one of my best friends since childhood. From picking me up from school and sneaking in after-school snacks at drive-thrus, to being my biggest cheerleader, Rhonda has always been a constant source of love and support in my life. One unforgettable moment was when she dragged me to an informational meeting about nursing school. Little did I know, that spontaneous outing would set the stage for our shared journey into healthcare. Today, we continue to make a difference as an OR Nurse and an Oncology Nurse, respectively—a testament to our shared passion for helping others. We also share a lighthearted side, with a mutual love for quoting Miss Congeniality and Napoleon Dynamite at every opportunity (because “I believe what it says on the sign at the Alamodome, ‘we are all winners.’”). Rhonda’s humor, and support have made her a central figure in my life. Thank you so much for being my Matron of Honor—she’s been preparing for this moment her whole life!

Claire—aka “Clarinet”—is my awesome niece and our Junior GroomsGem. I’ve been in her life since day one, and let me tell you, watching her grow up has been one of the coolest experiences ever. She’s got the kindest heart, the biggest smile, and a personality that could make anyone’s day brighter. Some of my favorite memories with her? Sledding near Lake Tahoe (she totally beat me down the hill), trips to Disneyland where we conquered rides together, and cheering her on at her softball games. Whether she’s hitting home runs or hitting the high notes on her clarinet, she’s always giving it her all—and she’s got me wrapped around her finger, let’s be honest. I couldn’t imagine this day without her standing with us. Claire is not just my niece; she’s my “Clarinet” and one of the best parts of my world.

Amy and I first crossed paths at work, diving into the world of nursing simulation. It didn’t take long for her quick wit and infectious energy to turn her from a colleague into a close friend. Our friendship has been filled with endless laughter and inside jokes, often sparked by our talent for taking each other's words hilariously out of context. Our ongoing debate about whether cats or dogs are superior is another hallmark of our friendship. (Dogs are obviously supreme, though Amy would probably fight me on that!) Beyond the jokes, what I cherish most is the connection we’ve built over the years. Our double dates have been a source of joy as we’ve celebrated milestones and supported each other through life’s ups and downs. Watching Amy thrive as a loving mother and devoted wife has been a privilege and a reminder of just how incredible she truly is. One of the most incredible experiences we’ve shared was a breathtaking helicopter ride over the Phoenix Valley. The stunning views were unforgettable, but sharing that moment with Amy made it even more special—a perfect blend of awe, adventure, and laughter. 
Having Amy stand with Marcus and me on our wedding day as a GroomsGem means more than I can express. Her love and support throughout this journey have been a gift, and I’m so excited for the laughter, warmth, and light she’ll add to our celebration. I can’t wait to share this moment with her by our side as we start this new chapter!

Brooklyn, my sweet lady, is one of the brightest lights in my life, and I can honestly say watching her grow over these six years has been one of the greatest joys I’ve ever experienced. From the moment she entered this world, she’s been full of love, laughter, and a kindness that radiates to everyone around her. She’s grown into such a thoughtful, caring, and loving little lady, and I couldn’t be more proud of the person she’s becoming. Despite being just six, she has an incredible vision for her future and a heart that’s as big as they come. Our Thursday sleepovers are the absolute highlight of my week. They’re always filled with laughter, games of chess where she’s already proving herself to be a future grandmaster, endless rounds of tag that leave us both out of breath, and some of the best hide-and-seek I’ve ever played (she’s a pro!). It’s during these special times together that I really get to see just how amazing and imaginative she is, and how much she has to offer the world. One of the things I admire most about Brooklyn is the way she takes on the role of big sister with such care and responsibility. She’s always there to help, whether it’s lending a hand with chores or simply being a gentle guide for her siblings. She’s also got a heart of gold, always making sure everyone around her feels loved and important. Having Brooklyn as one of my flower girls is a dream come true. Her sweet spirit and joyful energy will undoubtedly make our wedding day even more magical than I could have imagined. I’m so grateful to be her uncle, and I can’t wait to see all the incredible things she’ll do in the future. She’s truly one of the greatest gifts I’ve ever received, and I’m so excited to share this special day with her by my side.

Kennedy, my sweet little gal, is one of the most spirited and fun-loving kids I know. At just one year old, she already knows how to test the limits and keep us on our toes with her mischievous grin and adventurous spirit. But behind that playful smile is a heart of gold, and it’s clear that she’s a sweet and loving little gal through and through. I absolutely adore her and watching her grow each day is a true joy. One of my favorite things is having her join Brooklyn and me for our games of tag. Even though she’s the youngest, she’s quick to jump in with a giggle, running and laughing along with us. It’s amazing to see how she looks up to her big sister and learns from her, and the sisterly love they share is so beautiful to witness. What I love most about Kennedy is how, despite her small size, she’s already taking on the role of protector for Brooklyn. It’s as if she knows her big sister is someone to be looked out for, and it’s such a tender thing to see, especially with her being the youngest. I can’t wait to watch her continue to grow, to see her personality blossom, and to see how she’ll carve out her own unique path. Having both Kennedy and Brooklyn as my flower girls is truly an honor. Their love for each other, their laughter, and their bright spirits will make our wedding day even more special, and I’m beyond excited to share this moment with these two amazing little ladies by my side.
